In Memory of Kim

Last Tuesday, Kim, the wife of our friend Dennis was murdered by a stalker inside their home.  She showed tremendous courage as she barricaded herself in her bedroom and desperately found a way to spare the lives of her two young children by passing them through a bedroom window, only for her own life to be taken.  Kim was only 24 years old and leaves behind 2 children, Dean (age 3) and Saleya (age 1) and loving husband Dennis.

We have known Dennis for over 10 years and met Kim about 3 years ago when they got married.

In order to help the family through this horrific tragedy, the friends of Dennis have set up a memorial fund for their children.  If you find it in your hearts to donate or to read more on her heroic story, please do so by going to the following webpage.

cindy told me about this story. gosh, this is so devastating and tragic. i feel so sad for your friend dennis and his kids. they have been in my thoughts and prayers. it's one thing to lose a loved one to an illness (which is bad enough), but to lose someone this way.. in this heinous way.. it breaks my heart. i pray for them.

such a horrible story, i wonder how he was able to get a hold of her on the internet. this makes me wonder if having blogs or facebooks are safe. and how did the person find out where she lived? so sorry for your friend's loss.
